We have been enjoying Cape Fear Rum Cakes for years. They are downtown Wilmington on N. Front Street. We keep them on hand as a ready made dessert (the rum keeps them fresh for 6 months. They come in three sizes, small, medium and large. We serve them to guests and we give them for gifts, especially around Christmas time. If you like cake and you like rum, you can't beat this combination. TWO THUMBS UP!

These local treats are the perfect gift! This is the second year I have ordered as gifts for Christmas and for myself and they will be a yearly staple for me. The cakes are moist and delicious and they offer a great variety of flavors. The customer service is exceptional. They deliver on time and respond promptly when contacted. I cannot recommend them enough!

So good! Popped in a couple Sundays ago for the first time after someone brought me a gluten free cake from there some time ago. I got the gluten free Funfefti, several vanilla original and a seasonal chocolate chip banana. I am so excited to go back to Wilmington this week and try the new seasonal fall flavors and will be dreaming of the chocolate chip banana until next summer. The Funfetti was so good we are getting two so we have one to freeze. The gluten free is every bit as good as the original. And let it be noted: I hate rum cake as a general rule but LOVE these! The little ones make such perfect gifts and the staff was so friendly. Not hard to find parking but you may have to walk a block or two but totally worth it! Can’t rave about this place enough!

20211031 OH my! I just opened the Painkiller and can smelled the rum immediately! It has a lot more rum than the coconut I tried over a year ago. I rarely drink and might get drunk from eating this rum cake 😁😆🤣. It's delicious and moist. I need help eating this! Going to share with my friends!! 5 more rum cakes to go. 😋 20211020 I came back to Wilmington for another vacation. I really enjoyed my first time here. I travel with my 2 little pups. I need to find parking near by if I am going to run in real quick to pick up some rum cakes and have to leave my girls in the car. I decided to do a driveby and see if there's parking up front. As I was about to cross the street and pull up to the front of the store, God... Buddha, Both blessed me!! An SUV started pulling out of the parking spot right in front of Cape Fear Rum Cake!! It was perfect timing!! Not seconds too late!! I can't believe the timing. The last time I shopped at Cape Fear Rum Cake was when they were at their previous location. This location is nice!! So much bigger and more spacious. There is more room for them to carry more variety of rum cakes that they didn't seem to have last time at their old location, as well as
